Stuck on an island called Singapore, where money speaks louder than my mom, I earn my keep as a full-time events planner, and a part-time leather crafter. As like many other Singaporeans, my week days are dedicated to the life that we call job. I usually only work on projects during the weekends, hence the name, Weekend Ranger.

My love for leather crafting started back when I was in Basic Military Training. My mates and I would sit outside our bunks and diligently polish our boots. While a certain rich section mate, having never seen him lift a finger to brush, always had the most kilat boots. It made me wonder. Why? How?

This, he explained, was because he was a leather crafter, and he knew the tricks to making his leather boots shine so bright, encik could see his face on it. Enlightened, I exposed myself a little bit more into the world of leather crafting, and the rest as they say, is all stamped in history…
