WARNING: This post is image heavy.
Recently, a friend of mine got me to make a custom leather casing/ sleeve for him. It wasn’t something conventional, that’s why I decided to take on the job. Good thing was, he wanted it au naturel. No colouring, no dyeing, no nothing. I did however, stamp his name on it. However, to protect his identity, I have decided to blur it out. Hence, some of the images may look distorted.
Started sketching using my silver pen.
And as said in my previous post, I like to cut grooves in my work so that it fold nicely.
Punching and cutting the holes out for buttons and the screen.
Strap with a magnet clasp. It’s quite fitting, so I would say that the magnet clasp is rather redundant. But looks good though.
Stitching my strap on.
Putting on the magnet holder for the clasp.
Applying a little water to mould it better.
And since we were gonna go au naturel, I thought that a cross stictch would be fitting for this piece.
Final product. WARNING AGAIN: VERY IMAGE HEAVY.So if you like what you see, and would like to get something custom made, do hit us up!
Have a great weekend!
